Responsibilities The responsibilities of the Network Office Investments & Financial Planning Support are to assist the NMIS operations manager in onboarding and supporting representatives that are selling investments. Provide office, data entry and service administrative support for the office operations by following acceptable procedures. Specific responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
OFFICE ADMINISTRATION
  • Review mail for investment checks. Prepare outgoing NMIS pouch mail or overnight mail.
  • File and log appropriate correspondence and forms.
  • Maintain supplies of prospectuses, and sales material.
  • Maintain complaint file.
  • Distribute processed trades and mutual fund statements to registered representatives.
  • Handle incoming calls to answer client requests for current account information only or direct calls to appropriate personnel.
DATA ADMINISTRATION
  • Processes account maintenance requests.
  • Review and process commission reports.
  • Review branch production reports.
  • Maintain daily bank deposits, check and order logs for Agency Supervisory review/approval.
  • Process service requests including funds disbursements, account transfers.
  • Process trade correction requests per approval from Agency Supervisor/Invest.
Operations Manager.
SERVICE SUPPORT
  • Respond to registered representative administrative requests.
  • Act as Liaison for FR NMIS (investment servicing) needs, client service access, mutual fund access, and troubleshoot paperwork that is lost or processed incorrectly. Planning, Sales, and Service Support
  • Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with all Financial Representatives supported
  • Participate in Development Team meetings to disseminate and gather information for the betterment of the reps and the office
  • Prepare, or collaborate with others, to develop consistent, high quality life stage appropriate plans for every Financial Representative subscribing to the Financial Planning unit
  • Prepare, or collaborate with others, to develop an integrated package for Financial Representatives to deliver to their clients as part of a pre-sale package
  • Compile meeting kits which includes all materials needed for the approach, close, delivery and client review
  • Collect and input client meeting notes
  • Maintain compliant electronic client files, complaint files and check and order logs
  • Manage underwriting process which includes providing, or collaborating with others to provide:
  • Pre-filling applications
  • Pre-checking applications for completeness and accuracy
  • Submitting applications
  • Scheduling requirements and medical exams
  • Monitoring of the Daily Status Report (DSR) and take action on cases needing attention
  • Process, or collaborate with others to open/fund investment accounts and investment service requests such as funds disbursements, account transfers and trade correction requests
  • Process, or collaborate with others to complete risk product (POS) service requests such as name and address changes, beneficiary changes, updates to Insurance Service Accounts to facilitate the collection of payments, etc.
  • Prepare and manage client communications Marketing Support
  • Initiate and create feed lists
  • Basic website setup
  • Administer Marketing Start-up kit (business cards, stationery, e-mail auto signature, professional profiles, NewsBrief, press release, and review of marketing site on LINKnet) Qualifications It is recommended that the Network Office Investments/Financial Planning Support have the following qualifications:
Preferred:
Series 6 and Series 63 or Series 7 and Series 63, SIE
  • (at minimum desire to obtain additional licenses)
  • One to three years of securities industry experience preferred.
  • Degree in finance preferred
  • Demonstrated computer experience required. Minimum 40-50 wpm
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy in handling detailed work Competencies
  • Strong ability to enlist or motivate the cooperation of others to participate in or join an effort making an effective team, influencing others without authority
  • Strong coaching to hold others accountable to commitment and skillfully coach others who do not meet expectations or perform poorly

Hours:
Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday
  • Friday ~8-5pm
Classification:
Non-exempt Compensation:
$55K
  • 75K/year, depending on experience, licensing, education
