$100,000 - $148,000 per year, depending on experience About Us Sunion Ecocycle Inc. is an R2v3-certified electronics recycling and asset recovery company headquartered in California. We specialize in IT asset disposition, electronics recycling, data center asset recovery, OEM / EMS excess inventory, and high-value electronic component recovery. We work with data centers, IT service providers, OEM / EMS manufacturers, electronics recyclers, distributors, and downstream partners to maximize asset recovery value while maintaining strong compliance, data security, and responsible recycling standards. Position Overview We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Manager to help us develop and expand our supply network across the United States. This role is focused on sourcing supply and building relationships with asset owners, recyclers, data centers, OEM / EMS companies, and industry partners. This is not a traditional customer sales role. The ideal candidate should already have experience and connections in the ITAD, electronics recycling, data center, semiconductor, OEM / EMS, or surplus inventory industry. The right person for this role is a "hunter" who can actively identify opportunities, build long-term relationships, and bring in valuable supply channels. Key Responsibilities Develop and expand supply channels for ITAD, electronics recycling, data center assets, and OEM / EMS
excess inventory. Identify and engage with potential suppliers, including data centers, MSPs, IT service providers, OEM / EMS manufacturers, electronics recyclers, distributors, liquidators, and enterprise asset owners. Source high-value inventory, including: Servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and data center decommission assets CPUs, GPUs, memory, SSDs, optical modules, networking cards, and other electronic components OEM / EMS
excess inventory, EOL components, semiconductor reels, factory surplus, and RMA returns E-scrap and end-of-life electronics Conduct outreach through phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, industry events, referrals, and existing industry relationships. Build and maintain long-term supply relationships with asset owners and intermediaries. Evaluate sourcing opportunities and coordinate with internal pricing, operations, compliance, and logistics teams. Negotiate purchase terms, supply agreements, and repeat business opportunities. Manage deal flow from lead generation to closing and handoff to operations. Track sourcing activities, pipeline status, and business development results. Required Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of experience in one or more of the following industries: ITAD / IT
Asset Disposition Electronics recycling E-scrap Data center operations, relocation, or decommissioning Semiconductor / electronic components OEM / EMS
manufacturing or excess inventory Electronics trading, distribution, liquidation, or reverse logistics Existing network in the ITAD, electronics recycling, data center, OEM / EMS, or electronics trading industry. Strong understanding of secondary markets for IT equipment, electronic components, and surplus inventory. Proven ability to identify supply opportunities and build business relationships. Strong communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills. Self-driven, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently. Ability to travel as needed for supplier meetings, site visits, or industry events. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with an R2v3-certified company or knowledge of R2v3 compliance requirements. Existing relationships with data centers, MSPs, IT departments, OEM / EMS manufacturers, recyclers, brokers, or electronics distributors. Experience sourcing servers, networking equipment, electronic components, or high-value e-scrap. Experience negotiating recurring supply agreements or asset recovery programs. Knowledge of remarketing, resale channels, downstream vendors, and asset valuation. Compensation Annual Salary:
