Lead U.S. and Canadian tax compliance and reporting support for private markets clients across annual cycles, with exposure to additional jurisdictions as required Own and manage relationships with external tax preparers and key client stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, timely information flow, and effective issue resolution Oversee annual tax filings and investor reporting, including partnership, corporate, and withholding returns, K 1s, tax estimates, and related deliverables Execute annual 1099 NEC filings for vendor fees on behalf of clients Provide guidance on complex tax matters, including withholding requirements, tax notices, payments, escalations, and tax documentation Support tax accounting and provision related analysis, including ASC 740 matters where applicable, and contribute to tax risk assessment and issue resolution Support FATCA and CRS compliance activities, including onboarding and oversight of investor tax records Partner closely with Fund Administration, Compliance, Legal, Treasury, and Operations to resolve issues, strengthen controls, and enhance delivery Identify and implement process improvements, operating model enhancements, and automation opportunities to support scalability Lead, coach, and develop junior team members, fostering accountability, collaboration, and high standards of execution Perform additional duties commensurate with the role and level of responsibility
Skills :
Strong technical expertise in U.S. partnership, corporate, and withholding tax compliance, gained within private markets, fund administration, or financial services Experience supporting alternative and international investment structures, with a solid understanding of legal entities and fund and investor reporting requirements Proven ability to manage complex, multi stream deliverables with strong attention to detail, risk awareness, and sound judgment Confident stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging clients, external advisors, and cross functional internal teams Working knowledge of FATCA, CRS, withholding processes, and investor tax documentation, including Forms W 9 and W 8 series A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to implement scalable solutions and contribute to automation initiatives Strong communication, leadership, and people development capabilities Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office;
