Job Description

As an Asset Management Specialist/Analyst, you will support day‑to‑day asset lifecycle and inventory operations within the data center environment. You will ensure data accuracy, operational efficiency, and process compliance by managing asset workflows, performing data analysis, and maintaining reporting dashboards. This role is accountable for delivering high‑quality operational and analytical work while partnering closely with cross‑functional teams to improve asset visibility, system integrity, and workflow performance. Candidate must be able to communicate in Mandarin Chinese.
Responsibilities:
Support end‑to‑end data center asset lifecycle activities, including receiving / putaway, inventory movements, issuance/returns, transfers, cycle counts, repair/RMA tracking, and discrepancy resolution. Build, maintain, and publish BI dashboards and KPI reporting (weekly/monthly) to monitor asset accuracy, inventory health, SLA performance, and process compliance. Perform data analysis to identify gaps, investigate variances, conduct root‑cause analysis, and recommend actionable improvements. Participate in process and workflow design, including requirements gathering, documenting SOPs/work instructions, and supporting platform workflow development with engineering/product teams. Collaborate with Data Center Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Security/Compliance, and vendor partners to ensure accurate execution and timely system updates. Prepare clear reports, presentations, and operational summaries for stakeholders; track action items using basic project management practices. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to asset accuracy, tooling, workflow optimization, and operational rigor. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field 1-2 years of experience in data center operations, asset management, inventory management, or supply chain operations. Hands‑on experience with BI and data analysis, with the ability to interpret metrics and produce structured reports (dashboards, operational reviews). Experience with process/workflow design or exposure to platform workflow development (requirements, user stories, UAT support, SOP/work instructions). Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams; basic project management capability (planning, tracking, stakeholder alignment). Familiarity with
AMS/IMS/CMDB/ERP/WMS
systems, ticketing tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow), or data tools (SQL, Excel, Power BI/Tableau) is preferred Understanding of audit/compliance requirements related to asset management (reconciliation, traceability, data security for storage media) is preferred. Experience working with vendors or third‑party logistics/operations partners is preferred. Ability to communicate in Mandarin Chinese is required.
