Job Description

Job Summary The Loan Operations Manager is responsible for managing the work and processes involving loan documentation, funding, construction disbursements, and servicing activities. This position requires an attention to detail, ability to teach and mentor, collaborate with other department colleagues, ensures timely work completion, and full adherence with regulatory and bank policies. The role is a player-coach role which will require in many instances personally and directly completing the actual tasks to ensure satisfactory completion. Key Responsibilities Responsible for loan files from all points including loan processing, loan documentation preparation, pre-boarding data entry, loan documentation review, loan closing, and loan servicing. Must be able to manage and/or directly complete the following responsibilities: Daily balancing, wire transaction certifications. Loan callbacks. Mailing of billing statements and past due notices. Loan payment processing. 1502 reporting, wire, transaction posting for SBA. Processing of loan payoffs. Produce reports for past due and coming due loan maturities. Prepare new loan, renewal, and modification legal documents for loans in LaserPro. Review booked loans for accuracy and assist with the internal/external audit requests. Organize loan documentation, work with lenders, applicants, credit analysts, and other stakeholders to complete processing. Execute closing actions to ensure a timely and effective closing process. Provide excellent customer service to both external and internal stakeholders by maintaining positive relationships. Review all 3rd party reports as needed. Follow up on outstanding entity requirements and understand entity documents to identify authorized signors for loan documents. Work with various departments and staff to reconcile GL (general ledger) and other accounts. File UCC's per various UCC requirements. Monitoring of Insurance and Property Taxes. Perfect the security interest on the pledged assets/collateral. Understands and adheres to established bank policies and procedures. Review, understand, and adhere to Bank Human Resources, Information Technology, Credit and other related policies and procedures. Maintain a working knowledge of banking, regulatory requirements, lending products, and credit. Other duties as assigned and needed to support the success of the bank.
Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
Prior Experience:
7+ years of experience in commercial loan operations
Management Experience:
2+ years of experience in team management Knowledge & Skills Ability to engage clients and bank staff and be courteous and professional. Ability to lead, coach, and develop staff with clear goals and expectations. Ability to manage resource planning and workload balancing. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Well-versed in using LaserPro. Maintain a culture of results-driven performance, continuous improvement, and stakeholder focus. Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Working knowledge of entity structures, organizational documentation, and state filing requirements is a plus. FISERV experience a plus.
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
