In this role, you will assist with the coordination of escrow activities, review loan documentation, and ensure adherence to federal and state regulations. Your proactive approach will help facilitate seamless transactions for our clients, lenders, and real estate professionals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop expertise in mortgage servicing, underwriting, and loan origination processes within a fast-paced financial services environment. Responsibilities Support escrow officers by preparing and reviewing escrow documents, contracts, and loan packages with precision and accuracy. Assist in the processing of loan applications, including credit analysis, income verification, and documentation review to ensure compliance with FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines and TILA (Truth in Lending Act) regulations. Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and title companies to facilitate timely closings and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise during escrow transactions. Maintain detailed records of all escrow activities, including inbound and outbound logs, incident reports, and compliance documentation. Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations by providing equitable service to all clients and maintaining unbiased practices throughout the transaction process. Conduct basic math calculations for loan amounts, interest rates, and escrow disbursements using 10-key typing skills to ensure accuracy in all financial transactions. Support mortgage servicing tasks by assisting with loan processing, TILA disclosures, and contract management to streamline operations. Experience Prior experience in mortgage or real estate escrow operations is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of FNMA guidelines, underwriting procedures, and loan origination processes. Experience working within financial services environments involving banking regulations, credit analysis, and mortgage servicing is advantageous. Familiarity with loan processing software systems and basic math skills for accurate calculations. Strong understanding of Fair Housing laws and compliance standards related to mortgage transactions. Proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and client service.
