Mortgage Loans Reports to :
CLO Overview:
Responsibilities include marketing and originating mortgage products. In addition, this position is responsible for compliance reporting to compliance department.
Essential Duties:
Marketing and originating mortgage loans Reporting compliance and ensure MCB follows the regulatory requirements Other tasks involving review of mortgage servicing process to ensure property booking of mortgage loan transactions. Compliance with bank policies and procedures and federal and state laws/regulations. Ensures proper OFAC is performed on all borrower/guarantors before loan proceeds are disbursed. Monitors and reports suspicious activity to the BSA Officer. Perform all duties in compliance with BSA/AML regulations and requirements Obtains adequate data for CIP on all wire and money instrument transactions

Familiar with the overall BSA/AML regulations and requirements Exhibits adequate knowledge of the following: CIP, Account Risk Assessment, Customer Due Diligence, CTR, OFAC, Cash purchase of monetary instruments, Originating Bank, Beneficiary Bank, TIN, NRA, HIDTA, HIFCA and SAR Exhibits adequate knowledge of the following concepts: placement, layering, and integration Familiar with the reporting requirements pertaining to currency transactions, cash purchase monetary instruments, wire transfers and opening of an account Exhibits adequate knowledge of regulations governing consumer laws pertaining to deposits or loans products Knows where and to whom any "suspicious" activity should be reported Knowledge of the

Education/Additional Training or Certifications :
Bachelor's degree with Accounting Major or equivalent work experience
Knowledge/Experience :
2-5 years prior mortgage origination or real estate experience. Software skills including Microsoft Office, Adobe, Internet, and Email Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to speak effectively before customers and employees of organization Bilingual skills preferred -
English/Korean, English/Chinese Work Environment :
