In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of auto loan origination, processing, and servicing. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your sales skills, financial knowledge, and customer service experience to drive success and foster positive relationships. Duties Assist customers throughout the auto loan application process, providing clear explanations of loan options and terms Conduct thorough credit analysis and underwriting to determine loan eligibility Negotiate loan terms with dealers and buyers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements while adhering to regulatory standards like TILA (Truth in Lending Act) Prepare and review contracts, verify documents are completed correctly Work with office staff to keep flow of contract processing moving and contact buyers and/or dealers to complete stips and requirements. Help grow the business by visiting dealers and signing them up to send contracts in. Make delinquency calls and help with process of repossessions and insurance claims. Qualifications Must be completely fluent in both English and Spanish as 50% of our portfolio is speaks Spanish Previous history in the auto loan industry, preferably the banking/lending portion Demonstrated negotiation skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and transparently Knowledge of TILA regulations and general banking practices Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills Ability to perform credit analysis, underwriting assessments, and basic math calculations accurately Experience working with contracts and loan processing workflows Familiarity with TILA disclosures and compliance standards within the financial services industry Prior loan officer experience or similar roles in banking or financial services is highly desirable Join us as an Auto Loan Specialist/Manager where your expertise will empower customers to achieve their vehicle ownership goals and help our dealer base grow and fund more deals.
