Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous Loan Administrator to support a credit union in Colorado through a contract assignment. This role is ideal for someone who can manage loan activity with precision, uphold regulatory standards, and contribute to programs that strengthen the local community. The position offers the chance to work across the lending process while helping deliver reliable service to members and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage loan files from initial intake through final payoff, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant at every stage.
  • Partner with lending and underwriting teams to review applications, coordinate required information, and help move decisions forward efficiently.
  • Administer Community Development Block Grant activities, including record tracking, reporting support, and adherence to applicable program guidelines.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records for loan transactions to support audits, servicing activities, and operational accuracy.
  • Respond to payoff-related questions and resolve servicing issues in a timely, thorough manner.
  • Verify that lending activities align with credit union procedures as well as relevant regulatory and compliance expectations.
  • Track portfolio data and prepare reporting that helps leadership monitor loan performance and risk trends.
  • Contribute to community-focused lending efforts by supporting programs and transactions tied to development initiatives.
  • Recommend workflow enhancements that improve efficiency, consistency, and service quality within loan administration.
  • Deliver strong member support by answering questions about loan products, account status, and related services.
