Job Description

Loan Operations Specialist (Contract) - Meriden, CTAn organization in Meriden, CT is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Operations Specialist on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with experience in banking operations, loan servicing, or financial processing who can support the accurate handling of loan documentation and operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and review loan-related transactions and documentationMaintain and update loan records in internal systemsVerify account information, payment activity, and supporting documents for accuracyAssist with loan boarding, servicing, payoffs, and maintenance activitiesResearch discrepancies and resolve operational issues in a timely mannerCommunicate with internal departments and external partners regarding loan status and documentationEnsure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirementsSupport reporting, filing, and other administrative tasks related to loan operations
