Overview Fidelity National Financial, Inc. (

FNF) is seeking a Front Desk/Escrow Assistant to join its Indian Shores, FL office. FNF is a leading provider of title insurance and transaction services to the real estate and mortgage industries. FNF is the nation's largest title insurance company through its title insurance underwriters
  • Fidelity National Title, Chicago Title, Commonwealth Land Title, Alamo Title and National Title of New York
  • that collectively issue more title insurance policies than any other title company in the United States. More information about FNF can be found at fnf.com. Duties Front Desk Receptionist duties along with light escrow processing duties: including but not limited to:
  • Open Orders
  • review Purchase and Sale Agreement
  • Order Title Search/Commitment
  • Kick-off communication with real estate agents and customers on the phone and via StartSafe o Collect key information not yet obtained from the agent/contacts
  • Accept Earnest Money Deposits o In person o Via Wire o Mobile Deposits o Send deposit confirmation to realtors
  • Daily Banking o Deposits and Reports
  • Process files/orders o Learn how to Review title commitments through TCT (Title Commitment Triage) o Learn how to read title requirements and understand "normal" requirements and "not so normal" requirements o Communicate with the parties to the transaction regularly with status updates o Learn how to order judgment, IRS, lien and many other types of payoffs o Learn how to order municipal lien search and learn how to properly review and read o Escalate urgent concerns to closer as needed o Work through clearing title issues o Learn how to Order payoffs (can utilize central resources) and learn how to properly review and read o Learn how to Order estoppels (can utilize central resources) and learn how to properly review and read o Learn how to Ensure file is clear to close prior to closing date and passing file off to closer o Learn how to prepare Lender title packages o Have a clear understanding of how to take a file from the opening to processing completing to handing off to a closer o Have a clear understanding of what Title Insurance does and what it does and does not protect against o Be able to fully communicate with all parties during the processing of a file o Understand how to read a title commitment•along with what each Schedule is o Work with closer to help coordinate signings/closings/mailaways, etc.
  • Assist office teammates with admin related functions for the office High school diploma or GED required Experience Superb communication, time management, problem-solving, and customer service skills
