Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Lender to join our team in LaBelle, Florida. This role is responsible for developing and managing commercial loan relationships, providing financial solutions to local businesses, and supporting the growth of our lending portfolio in the LaBelle area. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of commercial lending practices, and a passion for building long-term client relationships. You will work closely with business owners, community leaders, and internal teams to assess creditworthiness, structure loan packages, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Senior Vice President & Senior Lender Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Follows and incorporates First Bank's Core Values. Actively solicits commercial loan business. Develops commercial financing requests for new and existing customers. Informs customers of financial institution's underwriting guidelines and applicable government regulations. Maintains commercial real estate portfolio to ensure proper risk ratings and early identification of potential problems. Daily review, approval and disposition of commercial overdrafts. Negotiate terms, structure loan financing based on risk considerations and present credits for approval to appropriate levels of authority in the Bank. Reviews appraisals, credit reports, background checks, reference checks and other information as needed on commercial applicants. Maintains on-going customer contact, quality customer service and product knowledge. Other duties may be assigned to meet daily business needs. Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
Requirements:
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field (preferred). Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial lending or banking. Strong knowledge of credit analysis, loan structuring, and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Familiarity with the Labelle and Clewiston business community is a plus. Actively participate in local business and community activities and maintains close contact with customers and prospects.
