Position:
As the SBA Servicing Team Lead, you will lead the day-to-day administration of SBA loans in PCFS and related systems, ensuring accurate loan boarding, cash management, reconciliations, and reporting while driving system/process improvements and maintaining SBA/SOX compliance through strong team leadership and cross-training.
What You Will Do:
Supervise, coach, and provide training and development opportunities to staff. Provide day-to-day oversight of all SBA loan servicing activities, including general loan administration, cash management, and ongoing system maintenance. Oversee the booking, funding, and quality control of new SBA loans within PCFS to ensure data accuracy and regulatory compliance. Monitor, maintain, and support continuous improvement of the PCFS and Jira platforms on behalf of the Servicing Department, as directed by management. Assist with oversight of Secondary Market Sales and related servicing functions, as assigned. Perform and coordinate reconciliations with accounting for disbursements, DAR, SBA LIP, and other applicable general ledger accounts. Prepare and distribute timely and accurate internal and external reports summarizing loan data, including SBA reporting requirements (e.g., 1502 reporting, undisbursed loans, and maturing loans). Ensure adherence to SBA SOP requirements and First Internet Bank policies and procedures, including the use of compliant forms and documentation. Ensure compliance with SOX guidelines for all servicing-related functions and controls. Set expectations and model superior customer service for the Servicing team by promoting responsiveness, accountability, and professional communication in all borrower and internal partner interactions. Resolve servicing issues, inquiries, and escalations—both verbally and in writing—to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain productive working relationships across the bank. Assist in managing Servicing team performance, including hiring, training, coaching, and ongoing development, and ensure appropriate cross-training across all servicing functions. Perform additional duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
A minimum of five years of SBA operations experience in a high-volume environment; in the absence of five years of SBA operations experience, a minimum of two years of SBA operations combined with at least six years of operations experience in mortgage or commercial lending. Prior experience guiding or training others required. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Strong working knowledge of the SBA SOP 5057 and SBA 7a Servicing and Liquidation Matrix. Prior experience with PCFS Loan Manager System preferred . Prior experience with eTran, FTA portal, and MySBA Loan Portal preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills . Interpersonal skills to interact positively and effectively with all levels of employees, management, and third parties. Possess excellent multi-tasking skills. Capability of working effectively under limited supervision. Ability to identify issues and opportunities and explore solutions. Ability to create and maintain a positive and cohesive teamwork environment. Ability to meet strict timelines and service level agreements. Strong PC skills required along with an ability to quickly learn new systems.

Professional office setting. Primarily sedentary position requiring long periods of time working at a computer.
