Reporting to the Senior Loan Officer, SVP, this role assists with loan origination, documentation, closing coordination, and portfolio servicing while ensuring an excellent borrower experience. This position acts as a key liaison between lenders, borrowers, attorneys, title companies, appraisers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, service-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced community banking environment. As a de novo bank, we are seeking someone proactive and adaptable who wants to help build a strong lending platform from the ground up. Key Responsibilities Support lenders through loan origination, processing, and closing Prepare, organize, and validate loan files for completeness and accuracy Coordinate with third parties (borrowers, attorneys, title companies, appraisers, insurers, etc.) Review loan documentation for compliance with approved terms and bank policy Prepare commitment letters, closing packages, renewals, modifications, and related documents Track due diligence items (appraisals, title, insurance, UCCs, flood determinations, etc.) Assist with loan boarding, funding, collateral tracking, and post-closing review Monitor covenants, exceptions, insurance renewals, and portfolio ticklers Maintain accurate loan records and ensure regulatory compliance Support pipeline tracking, reporting, audits, and loan reviews Provide responsive customer service throughout the lending process Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in loan operations, processing, or commercial loan administration Knowledge of commercial, consumer, and real estate lending documentation Understanding of loan file requirements, collateral perfection, and compliance standards Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Experience C&I, CRE, and small business lending exposure Community bank or de novo banking experience SBA lending knowledge Familiarity with loan documentation systems and core banking platforms Understanding of regulatory lending requirements What We Offer Competitive compensation and benefits Collaborative, relationship-driven culture Growth opportunities in a scaling de novo bank Direct exposure to senior leadership Opportunity to help build a community bank from the ground up What Nola Bank Offers Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package A collaborative, relationship-driven, locally focused work environment Meaningful career growth opportunities as the bank scales The opportunity to help build and support a growing community bank Direct access to and mentorship from senior leadership The ability to make a meaningful impact on the success of the bank and the communities it serves Nola Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
