Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Escrow & Insurance Assistant to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to play a key role in managing escrow processes and insurance tracking within the banking industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate and loan administration, coupled with a deep understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
  • Execute quarterly escrow processing and ensure timely completion of annual escrow analysis.
  • Monitor hazard and flood insurance policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and accuracy in billing.
  • Handle insurance tracking, including billing and payments for private insurance and other related policies.
  • Maintain adherence to critical deadlines for escrow and insurance-related tasks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to manage property tax billing and payments effectively.
  • Review and process title escrow documents, ensuring all legal and compliance standards are met.
  • Oversee the implementation of Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) guidelines within escrow operations.
  • Support loan administration activities, focusing on commercial real estate transactions.
  • Conduct audits and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy in escrow accounts.
  • Provide guidance and expertise on trust and estate property tax matters.
