Who the Ideal Candidate Is The ideal candidate is eithera licensed mortgage loan originator, a mortgage underwriter or a mortgage processor who has a great handle on loan programs, guidelines and the loan process, thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate also loves working with clients and providing them with the absolute best experience while giving them the best advice on what loan program is right for them, how it should be structured and what they can do to improve upon their situation long term. The ideal candidate understands that we serve the client and lead them to what is best for them not what is best for the company bottom line. The ideal candidate also possesses these traits and abilities: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Proficiency in loan origination systems (LOS) and other mortgage software. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude. What the Role Is In this role, the team member will handle the loan from initial client intake through submission to processing.
Specifics include:
Pre-qualifying borrowers
- within 24 hours of an initial consultation credit is pulled the file structure is set and a list of any remaining documents needed is sent. Pre-Approving borrowers
- within 24 hours of documents being received they are reviewed, the file updated accordingly and the qualifications determined such as possible programs and maximum qualification amount. The clients and the realtor (as applicable) are briefed on the details. Prepping for Offers
- when clients wan tto make offers, we set up the deal according to the offer with updated terms and provide them payment and cash to close estimates as well as amounts needed for concessions Disclosing and Submitting to Processing
- Once and offer is accepted we need the file updated to match the offer, rate and costs updated and disclosures requested. An email of updated documents is sent and when all is received back the file is submitted to processing Problem-solving proactively
- we want all loans to close on time.
If they don't it has to be because of a situation beyond our control and even then we want to avoid those before they happen.

Every borrower gets contacted within 24 hours of application.
Accuracy:
Every pre-approval is airtight — no surprises later in underwriting.
Consistency:
Weekly borrower updates and Realtor communication happen without fail.
