Job Description

We are supporting a confidential search for a Commercial Loan Officer to join a well-respected, community-focused financial institution. The team is seeking a lender who can step in confidently, manage the full lending process, and build strong, lasting relationships with local businesses. This is a great fit for a commercial banker who values autonomy, local decision-making, and a collaborative environment. What You'll Do Manage and grow a diverse commercial portfolio with a focus on C&I lending Structure, analyze, and present credit requests with sound judgment Build new business through relationships, referrals, and community involvement Provide responsive, high-touch service to existing clients Partner across departments to deliver full banking solutions Represent the organization in the community in a professional, approachable way What We're Seeking 3-10+ years of commercial lending experience within community or regional banking Strong credit background with the ability to structure C&I and CRE deals independently Proven ability to grow and retain client relationships Experience managing full-cycle lending ("soup to nuts") Strong communication, follow-through, and problem-solving skills Preferred Experience Formal credit training or experience as a Credit Analyst or Portfolio Manager Exposure to SBA 7(a)/504, equipment financing, and both owner-occupied and investment CRE Success developing COI networks and generating new business Why This Role Stands Out Local decision-making and real visibility with leadership Supportive credit culture Competitive compensation and benefits Hybrid flexibility available in select markets Opportunity to make an impact within a stable, relationship-driven institution This is a confidential search, and additional details can be discussed during the interview process.
