As a Retention Specialist at Coast 2 Coast Lenders, you'll play a key role in maintaining and strengthening relationships with our existing client base. Your focus will be on re-engaging past clients, identifying new opportunities within your pipeline, and ensuring clients continue to see value in working with our team. This role is ideal for someone who is relationship-driven, confident on the phone, and motivated by performance. Key Responsibilities Evaluate loan files that did not proceed to closing to identify missed opportunities Reach out to prospective clients to gain insight into why they chose not to move forward Address concerns, navigate objections, and present solutions to re-engage clients Collaborate with Loan Officers and internal teams to structure viable loan options Keep detailed and organized records of all interactions and follow-ups within the CRM Recognize patterns in client feedback and share insights to enhance processes and improve conversions What We're Looking For Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Strong critical thinking with the ability to overcome objections effectively Highly organized with strong attention to detail Prior experience in the mortgage industry required Comfortable making outbound calls and maintaining consistent client engagement Driven, proactive, and results-oriented Qualifications Active NMLS license preferred ( not required but a strong plus ) 1-3+ years of experience in mortgage, loan origination, or a related sales role Proven ability to handle objections and re-engage hesitant clients Strong phone presence with confidence in outbound calling Experience working with CRM systems and managing follow-ups Ability to analyze client situations and identify workable solutions Highly organized with strong attention to detail Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-based environment Strong communication and relationship-building skills Why Join Coast 2 Coast?
