Job Description

C&I Commercial Loan Officer (Community Bank) Are you a relationship-driven commercial lender who enjoys working directly with business owners to help them grow? A respected, community-focused bank is seeking a C&I Commercial Loan Officer to build and manage a strong portfolio of local business relationships. This is not a high-pressure, cold-calling sales role. Success here comes from face-to-face conversations, trusted advisory relationships, and a deep understanding of both the local market and sound credit fundamentals.
What You'll Do:
Build, manage, and grow a portfolio of C&I commercial loans Develop new business through strategic calling, referrals, and community presence Meet with business owners to understand their goals and structure appropriate financing solutions Maintain strong credit quality, profitability, and compliance benchmarks Collaborate closely with support staff and executive management
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of commercial banking experience in the local market Existing portfolio of C&I business clients Strong knowledge of credit, financial analysis, and lending structures Excellent verbal and written communication skills Effective negotiation and relationship-management abilities Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related experience Why Join This Bank?
