Job Description

Accurately prepare and review legally binding real estate documents. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of loan documents. Communicate status and expectations to internal staff, loan originators, closing agents and attorneys. Ensure data integrity by reviewing loan data in the loan origination system (LOS). Verify information within the loan file, lock information and final fee sheet is in compliance, and appraisal and credit documentation are not expired. Review loan for compliance with
RESPA, RESPA
tolerances, TILA and MDIA. Review loan documents such as Closing Protection Letter, Title Commitment, Homeowner's Insurance Declaration Page and invoices for various services (credit report, appraisal, etc.). Ensure all fees are compliant per the disclosures within the file, loan product, etc. Review signed documents, Closing Disclosure, loan approval and investor conditions. Maintain detailed notes in the LOS conversation log through the transaction and update the LOS system statuses. Contact borrower, closing agents and real estate agents to request conditions as needed to ensure close of escrow and rate lock expiration are met. Review closing package prior to sending to settlement agent. Balance loan and request funds. Perform other related duties as assigned. Opportunity Bank of Montana is an equal opportunity employer.
