Job Description

Job Title:
Loan Officer Assistant (Mortgage Experience Required) Job Summary We are rapidly growing Mortgage company looking for a detail-oriented, high-energy Loan Officer Assistant to join our team. If you have a background in mortgage and are looking for a role with high earning potential, this is it. You will support the Loan Officer in moving files from application to closing, ensuring a "five-star" experience for our borrowers.
Compensation & Benefits Base Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour (based on experience)
Performance Bonus:
$100.00 - $200.00 per closed loan.
Total Earning Potential:
Most of our LOAs earn $50,000+ per year with bonuses included. Full benefits, health, dental vision and HSA Key Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for borrowers, keeping them updated throughout the loan process. Review loan application packages for completeness and accuracy. Request and organize "stipulations" (docs) from borrowers (bank statements, tax returns, etc.). Coordinate with the processing and underwriting teams to clear conditions and meet closing deadlines. Manage the Loan Officer's calendar and pipeline to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Required Qualifications Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the mortgage industry (LOA, Processing, or Admin).
Knowledge:
Familiarity with conventional, FHA, and VA loan programs.
Tech-Savvy:
Good computer knowledge is a plus
Communication:
Exceptional phone etiquette and professional writing skills.
Organization:
Ability to manage a high-volume pipeline with strict deadlines. Reliable and hardworking are two key attributes we are looking for.
Pay:
$49,608.42 - $59,743.47 per year
