Starting $17.28 per hour As a member of this team, your primary responsibility is to serve and satisfy the credit union members as well as provide phone and administrative support to the Loan Department. This includes whether your job involves dealing with members directly or providing service to someone who does. Departmental responsibilities are to attain the organization's goal by providing effective and efficient quality service to the PFCU membership. Patience, tact, honesty, and compassion are essential. Versatility, confidentiality, coolness under fire, and a cooperative spirit are imperative. Essential Functions Must meet departmental minimum standards. Inform members regarding status of loan applications. Take loan applications as needed. Provide member service to all members and cross-sell credit union products/services when applicable. Assist loan processors with calls by answering member questions and verifying information is received and status calls. Make outbound follow up calls for loan processors as needed. Provide answers to member questions pertaining to loan servicing. Adhere to all department related policies, procedures and federal compliance regulations. Comply with credit union policies in accordance with security and operational control requirements. Efficiently process new loan products and prepare applications for review as backup. Disburse loans to member accounts and mail any loan checks via overnight delivery. Assist with the funding process of indirect loans (ex. RateGenius). Make outbound calls to borrowers for needed insurance documentation. File supporting documents into loan applications as received through email, fax and mail. File property searches into loan applications as received. File appraisals into loan applications as received. Add PFCU as lienholder to insurance policies for disbursed home equity loans. Complete credit research requests as needed. Mail distribution and UPS delivery daily. Assist with boarding and exporting HPML loans into NLAI for Cenlar. Assist with filing faxes as needed. Serve as back-up for the Loan Servicer Job Functions. Prepare reports as needed for Management. Complete periodic training/certification for, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and lending regulations as assigned. Take calls/emails from Enterprise Car Sales promptly and expediently, including taking loan applications for Enterprise. Schedule loan closing appointments as needed. Manage eSignature notifications. Complete process for Autodrafts daily as assigned by rotation. Perform notary services. Support PFCU productivity and efficiency by performing any other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. • At least 1 year of experience in a financial institution is preferred. Thorough knowledge of PFCU loan policy and procedures. Have an in-depth knowledge of credit department products. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to effectively handle conflict and resolve problems. Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Must be attentive and detailed oriented. Knowledge of proper methods of verifying identification via telephone. PC proficiency required. Thorough knowledge of consumer loan origination system. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. Thorough knowledge of Symitar System. Knowledge of proper telephone etiquette. Basic knowledge of all PFCU products and services. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Previous financial and or member service experience is desired. Employee must register with the NMLS Registry as required by the S.A.F.E. Act.

Ability to perform basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, decimals, etc.
Language Ability:
Ability to read a variety of materials such as books, magazines, and instruction manuals. Ability to prepare memos, reports, and essays using proper punctuation, spelling, and grammar.
