Coastal Loans, a mortgage joint venture with Acrisure Mortgage and Holiday Builders, has an exciting opportunity for a driven and relationship-focused Bilingual Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) to join our team! About the Role - The MLO will build relationships with our builder partner and visit communities on a regular basis with expected travel at least once a week. The communities span from as far north as Ocala, FL to as far south as Cape Coral, FL. They will also participate in weekly pipeline status meetings. MLO will interview customers to determine their financial needs and advise those customers of appropriate products, terms, and pricing. They will navigate the borrower through the mortgage process and help to gather required information through clear and timely communication. The MLO must maintain high loan quality standards and comply with industry regulations. The MLO is required to meet sales goals and objectives. Responsibilities - Build relationships with builder partner and visit communities regularly Participate in weekly pipeline status meetings Interview customers to determine financial needs and advise on products, terms, and pricing Navigate borrowers through mortgage process Help gather required information through clear and timely communication Maintain high loan quality standards and comply with industry regulations Meet sales goals and objectives Qualifications - Fluency in both English and Spanish is required Candidates must reside within or near Central Florida (preferred) or Florida's West Coast 3-5 years residential mortgage industry experience, preferably supporting a builder relationship Must be willing to travel and be on the road at least once per week to visit assigned communities Established volume of $12M+ annually with desire to grow further FL Mortgage Loan Originator license required Ability to establish and maintain relationships with builder and customers Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, across a variety of audiences Proficient in product guidelines for Conventional, FHA, and VA loans Strong technology skills, encompass experience is a plus This opportunity allows you to become a part of a reputable mortgage lender partnered with a builder that has built a proven template for success in the residential lending industry!
