Position Overview:

As an Independent Escrow Officer you will oversee your own escrow transactions ensuring smooth closings while maintaining compliance with regulations. You will play a key role in coordinating with borrowers, lenders, investors, and real estate professionals. Our internal team will help facilitate your deals with you and provide support as needed.

Job Knowledge/Responsibility/Communication:

1. Effectively manage workload to ensure efficient use of time 2. Develops and maintains good customer relations and service 3. Assists customers, their agents and attorneys with the consummation of commercial, resale or land acquisition transactions (needed for Independent Escrow Office) 4. Knows how to interpret extensive and unusual instructions or requirements and is able to determine the best method of satisfying those requirements. 5. Adapts with company approval, company procedures to meet pressing and changing requirements 6. Is able to handle more complex and unusual escrow situations. Knows when to consult with attorney/management on questionable situations or problems 7. Determines work priorities to meet customer needs and deadlines 8. Can keep a professional yet friendly atmosphere in escrow unit 9. Develops and maintains good customer relations to assure retention and/or acquisition of new business

Location:

Newport Beach, CA Pay and Structure:

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position that is commission only. We can discuss your commission split in person which is based on experience and sales volume Required qualifications: Well established in the escrow industry, exceptional customer service and critical thinking. A current customer base to bring over upon employment and/or ability to develop new business.

At least 5 years

Licenses:

Real Estate is a plus

Skills:

General computer skills Tools/applications to have knowledge in: RBJ software experience preferred
