Responsibilities:

Meet with clients to discuss their loan needs and financial goals Collect and analyze financial information to determine eligibility for loans Assist clients in completing loan applications and gathering required documentation Evaluate loan applications, including credit history, income verification, and collateral assessment Collaborate with underwriters to ensure timely loan approval and closing Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan process Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and compliance requirements, including TILA and FNMA guidelines Maintain accurate records of loan applications, approvals, and denials

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a licensed Loan Officer In-depth knowledge of loan origination and processing procedures Familiarity with accounting software and mortgage servicing systems Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess creditworthiness and financial risk Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Qualifications:

Proven experience in loan origination or mortgage officer roles within the financial services or banking sectors Strong background in financial sales, negotiation, and customer service with a focus on ethical practices aligned with Fair Housing regulations Proficiency in mortgage software such as Quicken or similar platforms; familiarity with FNMA guidelines is highly preferred Knowledge of underwriting processes, credit analysis, escrow procedures, and basic math skills including 10 key typing proficiency Experience working with loan processing systems, accounting software, and banking operations related to mortgage transactions Ability to interpret contracts, legal documents related to TILA disclosures, and mortgage servicing agreements accurately Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced environments Embark on a rewarding career where your expertise helps turn homeownership dreams into reality.
