We are committed to providing exceptional service and expertise to our clients, and we are currently seeking an experienced Escrow Officer to join our team. Knowledge of Qualia software is a plus.Job Description:
As an Escrow Officer at Francis Colonial Title, you will play a pivotal role in managing escrow transactions, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and facilitating successful real estate closings. Your expertise in Qualia software will be a valuable asset as you work closely with real estate agents, buyers, sellers, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient transactions.Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the escrow process for residential and commercial real estate transactions.
- Review contracts and documents for accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with real estate professionals, clients, and other parties involved in the transaction.
- Utilize Qualia software to streamline and enhance the escrow process.
- Prepare and distribute necessary documentation, including settlement statements, deeds, and title insurance policies.
- Coordinate the secure transfer of funds and ensure timely disbursement to the appropriate parties.
- Conduct comprehensive title searches and address any title-related issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate and organized escrow records and files.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred).
- Proven experience as an Escrow Officer, with a strong preference for Qualia software proficiency.
- In-depth knowledge of real estate transactions, title insurance, and escrow processes.
- Familiarity with Texas state laws and regulations related to real estate transactions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Qualia software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Relevant certifications and licenses (if required by the state of Texas).
