In this role, you will be responsible for managing the title and escrow process for real estate transactions, ensuring all documentation complies with federal and state regulations. Your expertise will facilitate smooth property transfers, protect client interests, and uphold the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities Prepare, review, and verify title documents, including title commitments, policies, and escrow instructions to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and Fair Housing regulations Conduct thorough title searches using FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines to identify potential issues or liens that could affect property transfers Coordinate with lenders, attorneys, escrow officers, and clients to facilitate seamless closing processes Analyze financial data related to escrow accounts, including basic math calculations for disbursements and escrow balances Ensure all contractual obligations are met by reviewing contracts, loan documents, and related paperwork Maintain detailed records of all transactions, including escrow instructions, contracts, and correspondence Assist with loan origination processes by providing necessary documentation for underwriting and loan processing Experience Previous experience as a Title Agent or in a similar role within the mortgage or real estate industry is required Qualia software proficiency required Strong understanding of FNMA guidelines, underwriting procedures, and mortgage servicing practices Knowledge of loan origination processes and credit analysis techniques Familiarity with banking operations, escrow procedures, and basic math skills required for accurate calculations Experience working with TILA regulations and contracts related to real estate transactions Excellent attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, lenders, attorneys, and internal teams Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional service in the real estate finance sector.
