Mortgage Underwriter III

Job Description The Mortgage Underwriter III will support Business-as-Usual (BAU) loss mitigation operations within U.S. This role is responsible for managing a pipeline of defaulted mortgage loans, performing underwriting decisioning, and generating borrower communications. The position is back-office only with no phone responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Manage a pipeline of mortgage loans through loss mitigation underwriting decisioning Analyze borrower financial documentation and determine appropriate workout solutions Utilize Excel-based tools to track and manage loan activity Prepare and issue borrower communications using Microsoft Word via regular mail and UPS Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant underwriting decisions Collaborate with internal teams to support servicing operations Handle and protect customer financial data in accordance with policy We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
