Job Description

Basic Job Function The Lending Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization's lending programs and loan portfolio. This position manages the loan process from application through closing and servicing, ensuring compliance with agency policies, funding source requirements, and applicable regulations. The Lending Manager works closely with borrowers, staff, financial institutions, and community partners to provide affordable lending opportunities that support the organization's mission of expanding housing and economic opportunities for low- to moderate-income individuals and families. Performance Measures and Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Public Administration, Community Development, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Minimum of three to five years of experience in lending including mortgage lending, both purchases and repairs, and community development lending Experience with affordable housing, nonprofit lending, CDFI programs, or government-funded loan programs preferred. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Experience as a loan officer or in a supervisory capacity is highly desirable. Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of lending principles, underwriting practices, and loan servicing. Understanding of affordable housing and community development programs. Strong analytical and financial management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and employees. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and loan management software. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Commitment to the mission and values of the organization. Reporting and Administration Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports regarding lending activities and portfolio performance. Monitor program budgets and funding allocations. Assist in strategic planning and program evaluation. Maintain confidentiality of client and organizational information. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods. Occasional travel to meetings, training, and community events may be required. Work Environment and supervise Office environment with occasional community outreach and partner meetings. Loan Officers, Lending Specialists, or Administrative Support Staff as assigned.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
