Full Job Description Job Summary:
Responsible for supporting the Consumer Loan Administrator by handling loan processing, documentation, account maintenance, payment processing. Compliance tracking, and customer communication. The role provides administrative support to ensure accurate, confidential, and efficient loan servicing while collaborating with loan officers, underwriters, branch staff, and other departments to maintain smooth operations and regulatory compliance.
Education/Experience:
A minimum of the following education/experience is required: High School Diploma/GED and 5 years' experience in finance, business, or related field; OR Associate Degree and 2 years' experience in finance, business, or related field;
OR Job Specific Responsibilities:
Prepares, reviews, and processes consumer loan applications and documentation. Reviews loan files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Collects and verifies supporting documentation including income verification, identification, insurance, and collateral information. Serves as "go to" person to solely underwrite and process loan requests in absence of Consumer Lending Operations Manager. Services existing consumer loans including payment processing, loan maintenance, and account updates. Monitors exception tracking items such as insurance, titles, collateral documentation, and missing signatures. Assists with loan renewals, extensions, modifications, payoffs, and releases. Tracks delinquent accounts and communicates with appropriate personnel regarding follow-up actions. Maintains accurate records within the loan management system. Ensures loan documentation complies with bank policies, state and federal regulations and lending guidelines. Assists with internal audits, external audits, external audits, and compliance reviews. Supports preparation of loan-related reports for management and regulatory purposes. Maintains confidentiality of customer and financial information at all times. Provides professional and responsive customer service to both internal and external customers. Works collaboratively with lending staff, branch personnel, and operational departments. Responds to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Partners on departmental projects, process improvements, and workflow organization. Provides administrative support to the consumer lending department as needed. Other duties as assigned.
