Full job description First Texas Bank is seeking an experienced Loan Administrator with a minimum of 1 year loan related experience required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide administrative assistance to all lending staff. Input loan data into the bank system which includes booking new loans, loan maintenance and posting loan transactions. Prepare loan documentation using Compliance One Mortgage & Compliance One Lending Provide and assist with required documentation needed for loan closings and verify accuracy of files prior to closings & funding. Fund loan files. Various daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly duties which include retrieving reports, updating logs and spreadsheets, verifying previous day input, and research rejected/misapplied payments. Process loan payments, pay-offs, wires, participations, and draw requests. Prepare lending related board reports, FASB, and SBA. Maintain Month end reports. Prepare time sensitive Loan Estimates and Closing Disclosures Resolve credit disputes. Complete VODs Log denied files and prepares Adverse Action Notices Monitor Executive Committee Approvals & EOM report. Track file document exceptions. Email/phone communication with internal lending staff Review loan file(s) for accuracy. Maintain credit tracking for insurance and real estate taxes. Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software, as well as analysis software. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to identify discrepancies and problems.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
