Job Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented National Escrow Officer to join our Houston team in a full-time, in-office capacity. This specialized role focuses on managing complex, multi-state commercial and Energy sector real estate transactions. You will lead the closing process from initial intake through post-closing, serving as the point of contact for buyers, sellers, and lenders. Responsibilities End-to-End File Management Manage the complete real estate closing process from file intake to post-closing. Serve as the primary point of contact for buyers, sellers, and lenders, delivering a seamless and professional closing experience. Navigate and execute multi-state commercial and Energy sector real estate transactions. Financial & Funds Management Manage the collection, balancing, and disbursement of high-volume, multi-state escrow funds and wire transfers. Ensure absolute precision when tracking multi-million dollar transaction accounts and closing statements. Recording & Post-Closing Logistics Coordinate with national e-recording vendors and local abstractors to ensure rapid document recordation across various county jurisdictions. Track and resolve post-closing title policy issuance and maintain comprehensive tracking logs. Qualifications Industry Knowledge & Adaptability Demonstrated understanding of—and/or a proven ability to quickly learn—varying state closing customs and escrow laws. Experience or strong baseline familiarity with commercial real estate frameworks, utility/energy transactions. Technical Proficiencies ResWare proficiency is recommended. Strong understanding of digital closing platforms and electronic settlement workflows. Communication & Core Skills Exceptional communication and organization skills to seamlessly manage stakeholders across different time zones. High level of problem-solving capability to handle complex multi-jurisdictional issues calmly and professionally.
