Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Escrow Assistant to join our commercial escrow team in Southlake, Texas. This is primarily an in person role but for the right candidate we are open to hybrid. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced assistant ready to progress toward a full officer role, or for a junior escrow officer seeking a stable, professional environment to further develop their career. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, exceptional client communication, and a proactive approach to managing transactions from contract to closing.
Responsibilities:
Support escrow officer in all aspects of the commercial closing process for, including document preparation, title clearance, and funding coordination. Prepare settlement statements and closing packages with precision and compliance with company standards. Communicate effectively with agents, lenders, buyers, sellers, and internal staff to ensure efficient and professional closing experience. Manage assigned files under the supervision of a senior escrow officer, gradually assuming greater independence as experience allows. Process earnest money deposits, disbursements, and post-closing documentation accurately. Maintain organized electronic files and update status notes in the title production system (SoftPro experience preferred). Uphold company policies, industry regulations, and confidentiality standards at all times.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in title and escrow required. Solid understanding of commercial real estate closing procedures and basic escrow accounting principles Proficiency with SoftPro or similar title software preferred. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Professional demeanor and commitment to excellent client service.
