Job Description
Overview Join our team as the Loan Manager, where you will oversee the daily operations of the Loan Department, providing leadership and direction to ensure efficient, compliant, and member‑focused lending services. This position manages staff performance, loan operations, reporting, and regulatory compliance while supporting Wichita Falls Teachers Federal Credit Union's overall goals. Responsibilities Manage and direct all consumer lending operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with federal and state regulations Maintain and enforce lending policies, procedures, and internal controls Monitor loan quality, delinquency trends, and risk indicators Prepare and review monthly lending, compliance, and Board reports, including HMDA and other required submissions Audit loans and lending processes to ensure policy and regulatory compliance Serve as an escalation point for complex lending situations and member concerns Coach, train, and develop lending staff; conduct performance evaluations and corrective actions as needed Collaborate with leadership, internal departments, and external partners to support lending operations Qualifications Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience Strong understanding of consumer lending practices and regulations Experience using loan processing systems and Microsoft Office Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills Ability to manage confidential information with discretion Detail‑oriented and able to work independently under deadlines Preferred Qualifications 5 or more years of experience in a financial institution Physical Requirements Prolonged computer use Occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds (files, documents) Pre‑Employment Requirements Credit Check Background Check Reference Check Embark on a rewarding career where your expertise makes a tangible difference!
