Job Description

Job Summary Southern Utah Title Company seeks an experienced Escrow Assistant. This position is responsible for pre-closing matters and must work closely with lenders, loan officers, realtors and developers. S/he must have quality communication skills and must be attentive to details. Our escrow assistant must be professional and must adhere to privacy and confidentiality standards. Duties & Qualifications Opens escrow within 24 hours and ensures customers receive copies the same day. Assists in processing escrows with a high degree of quality, including funding/balancing, figuring and clearing prelims. Orders all necessary documents to close escrow in a timely manner (i.e. demands, loan documents and insurance). Maintains records of communication with all partners involved in escrows. Follows company standards and practices when processing transactions, as well as applicable state laws and guidelines. Receipts any funds required by buyers and sellers of each escrow in a timely manner. Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Effective communication skills - return calls, voicemails and emails in a timely manner. Adheres to companies policies and guidelines. Proficient in English A high school diploma is required Notary public status is preferred Minimum of one (1) year experience as an escrow assistant is preferred.
Pay:
$20.00 - $28.54 per hour
