Mortgage Loan Officer Status:
Full Time Location:

Job Summary:
Mortgage Loan Officer helps clients secure home financing by evaluating their financial needs, recommending suitable loan products, and guiding them from application to closing. The role involves managing a loan pipeline, reviewing credit and documentation, ensuring compliance, and building relationships with borrowers and real estate partners. Strong communication, accuracy, and customer service are essential.
Job Duties Include:
Compile and analyze data for residential real estate loan requests. Outline loan terms and conditions and inform the borrowers of loan commitments. Effectively cross-sell all Bank products and services to all clients. Evaluate loan requests based on financial institution policies and on types of loans offered by the institution Order credit reports, background checks, reference checks, and other information as needed on residential loan applicants Prepare residential loan packages in accordance with financial institution policies. Answer inquiries from applicants and branch personnel. Review developing laws and regulations as they apply to mortgage loan agreements. Build and maintain relationships with realtors and builders while promoting loan products through trade show participation and educational seminars. Register and maintain Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) certification. Perform all other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for:
High School diploma or the equivalent. One to two years experience in a loan environment. Extensive knowledge of financial institution's policies and procedures Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The interpersonal skills necessary to conduct relationships with other people that will enhance the professional image of the Bank. Complete familiarity with various software packages of the Bank including Encompass and DNA .
