Job title: Closing Officer Company intro: Gowey Title is a privately owned title company with multiple offices across Wisconsin. We specialize in facilitating real estate transactions and ensuring property transfers are free and clear of liens. Our team is committed to providing exceptional service while navigating the complexities of the title industry. With a customer-first approach, we are experts in delivering solutions that support seamless real estate closings.
Job position description:
The Closing Officer will greet customers and answer and direct incoming phone calls. The individual will also process and close sale and refinance transactions, post payments, and create invoices. The individual will also input, edit, and process orders and documents. Other duties include running local errands, cleaning the office, and stocking the public areas of the office. The ideal candidate we're looking for is someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment, loves customer interaction, has a strong attention to detail, and strives for accuracy.
Primary Functions and Skills:
  • Review customer orders and obtain information from customers
  • Pre and Post-closing processes
  • Facilitate closings with buyers/sellers/lenders/realtors/legal professionals. Explain documents and terms of transaction to said parties, obtain and notarize signatures.
  • Input order information and process orders
  • Utilize public databases and industry software system
  • Any other duties as assigned
