Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Loan Officer to join our financial services team. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for clients seeking loans, guiding them through the application process, assessing their financial eligibility, and ensuring compliance with lending regulations. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help clients achieve their financial goals while maintaining the integrity of our lending operations. Duties Assist clients in understanding loan options and the application process, providing clear explanations of terms and conditions Originate loans by evaluating applicants' financial information, creditworthiness, and repayment ability using established criteria Process loan applications efficiently, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate Conduct thorough loan processing activities, including verifying income, employment, and credit reports in compliance with TILA (Truth in Lending Act) regulations Prepare and review contracts, disclosures, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with federal and state lending laws Utilize financial software to input data, track application status, and generate reports for management review Maintain detailed records of all loan transactions, correspondence, and client interactions Requirements Proven experience in loan origination within financial services Strong knowledge of loan processing procedures and regulatory requirements such as TILA Familiarity with contracts, disclosures, and compliance standards related to lending practices Excellent math skills for calculating interest rates, payments, and other financial metrics Proficiency with financial software platforms used for loan management and processing Solid understanding of basic math principles necessary for assessing loan eligibility and repayment plans Join us as a Loan Officer and become a vital part of helping individuals and businesses access the funding they need! From $23.00 per hour
