JOB SUMMARY
Under direct supervision, performs a variety of clerical duties related to the processing of dealer loans. This is the intermediate level position within the Consumer Loan Processor job family.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Proficiently perform all tasks assigned to Processor I position Ensure that processing time frames are being met and help with process wherever needed. 2.
Process Contract Holds and Returns:
Update status on system, contact dealers with status, overnight contracts being returned, etc. 3.
Process application holds:
Fax dealer regarding application holds and file package awaiting resolution. 4. Correct holds, receive contracts in hold status and update status in system. 5.
Process Flat Cancel contracts:
Locate approved and funded file, copy documents, write up instructions for Loan Services, update system, confirm funding date and amount, confirm dealer participation, fax form to dealer for clarification of flat cancel. 6. Process monthly Dealer Reserve. 7. Assist with training of temporary employees. 8. Program fax machines and maintain updates. 9. Assist Dealer Reps with dealer reviews. 10. Set up new dealers and deactivate canceled dealers.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS NEEDED TO PERFORM JOB FUNCTIONS
1-2 years experience as Consumer Loan Processor I preferred; incumbent must be proficient with all tasks inherent to the Consumer Loan Processor I position. Incumbent must possess computer skills that include ability to efficiently use Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong organization and communication skills a must.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Walk, sit for extended periods of time utilizing PC input and retrieve data, use of step stool, and ability to stoop and/or reach overhead to retrieve documents or records.
MENTAL DEMANDS
Work consistently and accurately within various time frames. Ability to file records in alpha or chronological order.
EQUIPMENT USED TO PERFORM FUNCTIONS
