This role serves as a bridge between loan officers and processors, ensuring compliance with investor and agency requirements, accurate documentation, and timely loan submissions. Responsibilities

• Assign loan files to processors.
• Review credit for accuracy and eligibility
• Verify property type and order FHA/VA case numbers, appraisals, flood certifications, and title.
• Scrub loan applications for completion and accuracy.
• Review and update income documentation; correct income details as needed.
• Run hard credit reports, pricing engines, and AUS submissions.
• Organize and clean up documentation and complete processing checklists.
• Approve or reject loan requests with detailed notes and rationale.
• Ensure compliance with company, investor, and agency guidelines. Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of mortgage industry experience preferred (processing, disclosures, or loan setup preferred).
• Knowledge of FHA, VA, and Conventional loan guidelines.
• Experience with Encompass LOS.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
