Job Description

Bank of Marin, voted by our employees as one of the Best Places to Work in the North Bay Business Journal, is seeking a Loan Boarding Associate to join our Loan Operations team at our corporate office in Novato, CA. The Loan Boarding Associate supports the accurate and timely setup of loans into the banks core system following closing. This role is ideal for individuals seeking to develop a strong foundation in lending support and loan operations within a community banking environment. This position works closely with internal partners to ensure loans are boarded correctly and in accordance with bank policy and regulatory requirements.

Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail with the ability to consistently produce accurate, high-quality work in a regulated environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProven proficiency in high-volume, accurate data entry and validation across multiple systemsAbility to stay on task with complex repetitive workCapacity to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with competing prioritiesAbility to quickly learn, apply and adapt to new systems, processes and regulatory requirementsStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and managefluctuating workloadsEffective problem solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindsetAbility to leverage available resources, systems and reference materials to research and resolve inquiries independentlyStrong understanding of how loan setup, servicing entries and monetary transactions impact clients and the Bank.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat; ability to navigate and utilize core banking and loan systems efficiently
Qualifications:
Professional Experience:
6 months 1 year related experience and/or training.
Educational/Professional Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or one year certificate from college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experiencecombination of education and experience and/or training.

The hiring pay range for this position is $24.05 to $32.47. In addition to the pay range listed, all bank positions are eligible for incentive compensation, which varies based on role. The pay rate for a successful applicant depends on a variety of factors including but not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
