Job Description

Hybrid | Orange, CA Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM $21.50/hour to start About Ennkar Ennkar is a well-established mortgage lender based in Orange, CA, specializing in reverse mortgage lending and dedicated to providing personalized home financing solutions. We're committed to integrity, efficiency, and excellence—backed by a supportive and professional company culture. We are currently seeking an entry-level Closing/Funding assistant to join our loan funding team. This entry-level role is an excellent opportunity to begin a career in reverse mortgage operations, gaining hands-on experience with key tasks such as funding, purchase packages, and HUD binders. You will work alongside a team of professionals to ensure accuracy and efficiency in every loan transaction. This is a great opportunity for someone detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn the fundamentals of mortgage operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and reviewing closing documents for accuracy and compliance Manage funding tasks and ensure timely execution of transactions Assemble and review purchase packages to meet investor purchase conditions Organize and prepare HUD binders for submission Support the team in managing follow-ups on outstanding conditions and document uploads
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
Experience:
Prior experience in mortgage operations is a plus, but not required—this is an entry-level role Excellent analytical and decision-making skills Strong written and verbal communication Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Adobe PDF Detail-oriented, dependable, and efficient under pressure Eager to learn and grow within the reverse mortgage industry Must be able to work in-office, 5 days a week (this is not a remote position)
Compensation & Benefits:
