What We Do The DRE Assistant supports the Subdivision Services DRE team in obtaining California Department of Real Estate (DRE) Final Public Reports for subdivision projects. This position assists with the preparation, organization, submission, and tracking of documentation required by the DRE and other regulatory agencies. Working under the supervision of the Department Manager, the DRE Assistant helps ensure projects are processed efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with company standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements. What You'll Do Establish, organize, and maintain project files according to departmental procedures and processor direction. Request agency letters, reports, and supporting documentation required for DRE applications and public report processing. Assist in the preparation of DRE application forms and supporting documentation, excluding management documents and budgets. Organize, assemble, copy, scan, and prepare application packages, responses, and supporting documentation for submission to regulatory agencies as provided by, or directed by, DRE Processor. Follow all department policies, procedures, and quality standards. • Stay informed of new DRE regulations, policies, forms, and procedural changes affecting subdivision processing. Communicate potential issues, delays, or concerns to management promptly to support proactive problem-solving and maintain client satisfaction. Assist with the distribution of public reports upon issuance and support department workflow to meet client deadlines and schedules. Support company and subdivision manager policies, programs, and objectives. Participate in training programs, seminars, and continuing education opportunities as assigned. Assist in mentoring and supporting team members to promote professional growth and departmental success. Perform additional duties and special projects as needed to ensure timely and successful completion of client projects. What You'll Bring Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Real estate or related experience. Strong organizational and administrative skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PDF management software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in subdivision processing, real estate, title, escrow, land development, regulatory compliance, or related fields. Familiarity with California Department of Real Estate (DRE) procedures, applications, and public report requirements. Experience handling regulatory filings and document management systems. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Professional and client-focused approach to service. Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Pay Range:
$20.31 - $27.09 Hourly This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.
