• Temporary, Contract A growing mortgage company in Wallingford, CT is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Processor on a contract basis.

This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, financial services experience, and a commitment to delivering an excellent client experience throughout the loan process.

Key Responsibilities:

Review loan applications and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy Collect, verify, and organize borrower financial information, credit documents, and disclosures Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and third parties to gather required information Ensure loan files meet internal guidelines and regulatory compliance requirements Track loan status and maintain accurate records throughout the processing cycle Assist in clearing conditions and preparing files for underwriting and closing Provide responsive, professional service to clients and internal stakeholders Previous experience as a loan processor, mortgage processor, or in a related financial services role preferred Knowledge of mortgage documents, loan processing procedures, and compliance standards Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files and deadlines Excellent communication and organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and loan origination systems High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
