In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing title documents for real estate transactions, working closely with Realtors, Buyers, Sellers, loan officers, underwriters, title insurance companies, surveyors, and other key parties. Your primary goal will be to acquire, analyze, and organize all necessary items and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness, facilitating a smooth and timely closing process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and title processing. Duties Ensures each file is opened, title is ordered, and acknowledgement of receipt is delivered within 24 hours of the Firm receiving each request Maintains proactive communication with all parties to keep them updated on the transaction status Assists in processing transactions for closing with a high degree of customer service and quality, including, without limitation, assisting with communication, scheduling and management of the file, issue resolution, title clearing, satisfying lender conditions, preparing preliminary settlement statements, funding/balancing, and preparing all documents necessary for closing Ensures the order of all necessary items and documents to close in a timely manner (i.e., title search, municipal lien search, payoffs, surveys, estoppels, etc.) Maintains records of communication with all partners involved in the closings Follows company standards and practices when processing transactions, as well as applicable state laws and guidelines Informs the Closer of any missing items or problems relevant to closing Returns all calls, voicemails, and emails in a timely manner Addresses all issues relating to files in a timely manner Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor Adheres to company policies and guidelines Skills Customer focused: goes above and beyond, is engaging, courteous, and professional when dealing with customers; does not do the bare minimum.
