This is not an entry-level processing role. We're seeking a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of every loan file from application through Clear-to-Close. You'll work directly with leadership, borrowers, agents, and underwriting teams to ensure smooth closings, strong communication, and operational excellence across every transaction. What You'll Be Responsible For End-to-End Loan Processing Manage loan files from application through Clear-to-Close (CTC) Submit complete and compliant files to underwriting within 24 hours Clear underwriting conditions within 48-72 hours Identify and resolve potential underwriting issues proactively Help maintain 20-day (or faster) application-to-CTC timelines Pipeline Management & Execution Handle 15-25+ active loan files simultaneously Track deadlines, milestones, and contract dates daily Prioritize urgent conditions and prevent processing delays Escalate issues quickly with solution-oriented communication Client & Partner Communication Serve as a primary point of contact for borrowers, agents, and partners Provide proactive updates throughout the loan process Maintain same-business-day response times (goal: under 2 hours) Deliver a calm, professional client experience—even under pressure ️ Operational Excellence Maintain accurate and up-to-date LOS and CRM records Coordinate appraisals, title, insurance, VOE/VOD, and other third-party services Structure files cleanly for efficient underwriting review Recommend workflow improvements and process efficiencies What Success Looks Like Top performers in this role consistently achieve: ✅ 20 days or less average application-to-CTC timeline ✅ 90%+ of files submitted to underwriting within 48 hours ✅ Less than 5% underwriting kickback rate ✅ 95-100% on-time closings ✅ Zero compliance errors ✅ Same-day communication with borrowers and partners Qualifications & Experience Required Skills & Experience Experience processing Conventional, FHA, and VA loans Strong understanding of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and VA guidelines Knowledge of TRID, RESPA, and mortgage compliance standards Experience using Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and CRM software Strong income calculation abilities including: W-2 income Commission income Self-employed borrowers Rental income Ability to manage multiple deadlines and high-volume pipelines Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) Bilingual English/Spanish preferred What Makes You a Great Fit Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills Professional and confident communicator Able to stay composed in fast-moving environments Results-driven mindset focused on accuracy and execution Why Join Empire Finest Group?
