Your expertise will ensure accurate processing, compliance with industry regulations, and seamless communication between clients, underwriters, and loan officers. Responsibilities Review and verify loan application documents, ensuring completeness and accuracy in accordance with FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines and other relevant standards. Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and borrowers to gather necessary financial information, including credit reports, income verification, and escrow details. Prepare and submit loan packages for underwriting approval, ensuring compliance with TILA (Truth in Lending Act), Fair Housing regulations, and other federal or state requirements. Analyze credit reports and financial data to assess borrower eligibility through credit analysis techniques. Manage the loan processing workflow by tracking application status, updating records, and communicating progress to all stakeholders. Ensure all contracts, disclosures, and documentation meet regulatory standards and are properly executed within banking and mortgage servicing guidelines. Perform basic math calculations using 10-key typing skills to verify figures related to loan amounts, interest rates, escrow payments, and other financial components. Qualifications Proven experience in loan origination or mortgage processing within the financial services industry. Strong understanding of FNMA guidelines, underwriting procedures, and mortgage servicing processes. Familiarity with TILA regulations, escrow management, contracts review, and Fair Housing laws. Ability to perform detailed credit analysis and interpret financial data accurately. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple loan files efficiently. Proficiency in basic math calculations and 10-key typing for precise data entry. Knowledge of banking operations, loan processing steps, and mortgage documentation requirements is highly desirable.
