Our team values efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism in every aspect of our work, and we are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Loss Mitigation Specialist to join our growing team. Summary As a Loss Mitigation Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting attorneys by performing a variety of duties in facilitating a workout between the client and defendant (depending on the loan type or delinquency), to reduce the risk of foreclosure and result in a performing loan when possible. Your duties will include compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, and verifying incoming data associated with attorney work. Key Responsibilities Request, prepare and provide Reinstatement and Payoff quotes, according to firm, client, and statute requirements. Verify anticipated Reinstatement and Payoff funds. Communicate with defendants, title companies, and opposing counsel, as well as internal teams, to confirm amounts due and send funds packages to clients overnight. Correspond with clients, defendants, title companies and opposing counsel regarding any loss mitigation assistance and/or documentation. Prepare and respond to Verification of Debt requests. Process incoming mail promptly and accurately. Update HELOC Validation letters for attorney review. Provide timely and relevant updates to clients using via vendor systems or email communication. Provide customer service through high‑volume phone and email communication. Review work carefully to ensure accuracy and prevent issues in subsequent workflow steps. Support team members as needed to maintain consistent workflow and quality. Prioritize tasks effectively using assigned workflow reports to meet individual productivity targets and contribute to overall departmental goals.
