Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Escrow Closer to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will manage the final stages of real estate transactions by coordinating escrow activities, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant, and facilitating smooth closings. Your expertise in mortgage processes, loan documentation, and financial regulations will help deliver exceptional service to clients and partners alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where precision and efficiency are paramount. Responsibilities Review and verify all closing documents, including loan agreements, title reports, and escrow instructions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines and other regulatory standards Coordinate with lenders, title companies, real estate agents, and clients to facilitate seamless escrow closings Prepare and review settlement statements, contracts, TILA (Truth in Lending Act) disclosures, and other legal documents involved in the transaction process Manage escrow accounts by accurately disbursing funds according to contractual terms while adhering to banking regulations and fair housing laws Conduct thorough credit analysis and underwriting review to confirm borrower eligibility and loan viability Ensure all loan processing steps are completed efficiently from initial application through final funding Maintain detailed records of all transaction activities, including 10-key typing entries, math calculations, and escrow documentation for audit purposes Requirements Proven experience in mortgage servicing, loan origination, or escrow closing roles with a strong understanding of FNMA guidelines and underwriting procedures Knowledge of mortgage laws such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act), fair housing regulations, and banking compliance standards Familiarity with loan processing systems, credit analysis techniques, and financial services operations Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately and efficiently using 10-key typing skills Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for reviewing contracts and legal documents Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, lenders, title companies, and internal teams Prior experience as a loan officer or in mortgage-related roles is highly desirable Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional service through precision, professionalism, and integrity. Pay:
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
