ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Includes setting up new loan files and following up on all verifications, appraisals and credit. Communicates with builders, realtors, appraisers, title company/attorney, credit bureau and customers to secure accurate verified information and provide loan status Validates loan documents and information conform to agency and investor guidelines. Prepares complete and accurate loan packages for underwriter review, portfolio and secondary market transactions. Sets up closings with customers and our closing department. Review residential loan application file to verify that application data is complete and meets establishment standards, including type and amount of mortgage, borrower assets, liabilities, and length of employment. Provides the best service to our customers with innovative and creative solutions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma, or equivalent required Excellent computer skills At least 3 years of current processing experience Good understanding of mortgage products and services Must have excellent communication skills, problem solving abilities, and math and calculation skills Strong attention to detail and ability to handle and meet deadlines Extended periods of sitting and computer use may be required Employees confirm they are able to perform the essential functions of this position to continue employment with First Federal Bank.
